Dream Theater Medley

Hi All,

First of all...I'm not shure where to post this so I'll do it right here.
About 1,5 year ago a friend of mine and me made a little DT medley, just for fun.
We had to perform it at his school about 3 months ago and it was recorded with a very bad camera. It was posted on video google but I never really thought about sharing it with you guys.

In the beginning it starts of with a lot of mistakes, mostly made by me. But after about 2 minutes I feel comfortable and it goes smoother. The quality of the video is pretty bad but the sound is ok. Hope you enjoy it.

Oh yeah, we have been working on a new medley for a while now but we haven't gotten one which we were satisfied with. Now I want to cover The Dark Eternal Night but they don't want to do it (the drummer says it's to hard, come on I can play the song so he should be able to

Haha, my friend and I (he has a 6 string bass) always play "Ytse Jam" and people are like "WTF?" heheh.

I'm curious, for Stream of Conciousness, did you play it in standard tuning and just transpose it or did you just play it in standard tuning (half a step up from Eb)?

I loved the "New Millenium" part and your pinch harmonics for "Erotomania" were so \m/ \m/

PS. Your drummer imitating Portnoy with the head hits, lol.

Stream Of Consciousness was actually transposed, so the guitar was tuned standard (E) but it sounded the same as in the song (like in Eb).

Okay, that means I DO have an ear for the right tuning, phew.
