Bon Jovi - Lost Highway. Anynone?

I just bought their new cd, its very different to previous releases, lots of quality tunes and of course great melodic playing by Mr Sambora. I notice the country influence in the songwriting, its very alt country almost, lots of acoustic guitars too. no real stadium rock songs. Dan Huff even produced half the cd, also a duet with Lee Ann Rimes! Great direction i think, Jon is a quality artist.

Slippery When Wet in aint! Seems a very mature cd, I really like it, very listenable. Hope its successful for them.

I'm interested in checking it out. Seems like they've slowly been going country over the past few albums, which is fine. I liked that song they did with Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland. They did a great special on TV with Sugarland a few years ago, which was what led me to check out Sugarland. I liked their first album. haven't heard the follow-up. Jon and Richie are good. They are master entertainers, one has to admit.

I caught that too...that was a great special. Both bands worked well together.

Just listened to the album, and have to say, really enjoyed it.

Jon kinda put me off Bon Jovi for a while. The guy is clearly losing the plot with his fragrance endorsements etc, but as ever, its all about the music.

Liking the album. I like modern country anyway so this was a nice surprise. Cheers rob.
