hmmm... not really, although I have been digging MuteMath lately, kinda like a mix of Incubus and Cold Play

and of course the latest Tori Amos CD, American Doll Posse, kicks butt!

MuteMath is cool, I've already been listening to them. I'll check out Amos' new stuff if I get a chance. Thanks a lot!!

The music is great as always, but I'd love to see them re-released with a mixing makeover!

I guess I should have mentioned that I was referring to the newer remastered version then.

I knew they had released a remastered version, and I've been wondering if it really was better. I've already got several versions of the album - between the original, Livecrime, etc. Did they really finally do the original recording justice? If so, I may need to go get a copy. Still one of my fav albums of all time. I get chills every time I listen to 'Eyes of a Stranger'....REV-O-LUTION!

Dreamrycher, if you really know the guys in QR, see if you can get Mr. Tate to join the board. I'm DYING to know what they were thinking on the later albums. I still think the band is mega-talented, but they just lost me after Empire. I can't connect with any of it.

Yes, the remastered version is MUCH better. And you get three extra obscure QR tracks to boot. Last Time In Paris, Dirty Little Secrets, and Scarborough Fair.

Alot of people rag on Mindcrime 2, but I thought it was a pretty decent release. The concert was good too.

I first got into QR when the EP was first released back in the early 80s. I liked 'em up until Empire, then lost interest. However, I did like OM2, so I am exactly sure why so many folks don't like it.
