Does anyone have a picture of an original Ernie Ball Earthwood? I would like to see what one looks like. There is limited info on the net per Google searches.

I'm new to the forum site, but hope to read and post alot. My question is, I recently bought an Earthwood bass (Standard-version body, which is 24 1/2" long, 18 1/4" wide, and 6 5/8" deep) at local music shop in St. Augustine Fl. I hadn't seen one since 1979 when I was 15-16 years old. Any way it's #816 which I found inside the body on the neck. I found very little on Earthwoods on the internet. I want to know when it was made, and if anyone has any addiional info. The guy at the shop said it was on consignment for 6 months for $850.00 and it came with a soft case. The shop owner stated a woman brought the bass in to sell after her husband had put into her closet to store it (he was the original owner) I guess he just stopped playing it. Sucks for him, I never stumble onto deals like this, I'll post pics later......Steve
1. I want to know when it was made and how many where made?
2. Whats it worth?
3. Any additional info.(catalogs, news letters, etc.)
4. Any website just for the Earthwood basses?
YOU know I re read this thread and it is really an example of some strange entitlement with the guy who was outraged that he didnt get the response and then demanding that we give him and the world the exact specs of something that my late Father created that Im very proud of. I think this is not a very courteous way to mess with Dad's legacy.
I came to this post because someone attempted to private message me twice. When that happens even though my in box is intentionally full due to people not respecting my wishes to not be pm'd my laptop beebs me to an email and my blackberry goes off....
Please please please try to understand that I give as much of my time here as humanly possible....check my time stamps..usually from somewhere around 5 am to 10pm...that is all I can give. Re read my signature please.
The Earthwood is precious to me and I want the image and examples to be what my father left the world. I would love to make it again but right now it isnt in the cards.
Thanks for your understanding
Two requests, please
Please contact customer service prior to posting instrument issues
Please don't PM me
Thanks
Please dont add me as a friend on facebook....my life is an open book here as it is.
Sorry about the PM that was me, I just thought you had all the knowledge on the Earthwoods. If you have time I would love to shoot you over the pics and maybe you can help me understand all there is to know about my new bass. I really got lucky finding it and I'm anal about knowing the whats and whys about it. Any way if you can help I would be thankful ......Steve

You do not find an Earthwood bass, they find you. I could not believe my eyes on craigslist last night and I am now the caretaker for a while. Original case, two sets of strings, tools and reciept. It appears it was built in 1982 as it was delivered to the owner early 1983. I believe it was a special order as the owner ran a music store.
Dont know if the pictures will take...
