As is the norm on Sunday I go out and buy some new cd's, some old cd's, try and find some gold. Today I bought a Rodney Crowell greatest hits ( 1978-1995 ), as expected it features some exceptional songs and songwriting, not to mention some tasty playing from dude called Albert Lee - sounds like a good picker, someone give him a EBMM!
Also grabbed Rodney's frist two solo cd's at stupid low prices ( $4 for both! ) so i'm on the right track.
And finally i got a few Ricky Skaggs cd's, love uptempo bluegrass stuff! Albert says jamming to this stuff is the best way to get yer chops goin, he aint wrong!
