Guitar Demos Are Driving Me Nuts!!!!

I've had it!!! If I hear one more supposed guitar demo that is only overdriven shredding I'm going to scrrrrrream!!!!!
I've been trying to get a feel for the sound/tone capabilities of a few EBMM guitars such as the Luke and the Axis SS, etc...
Seems like every freeking time I click on a EweTube video "demo" that someone is doing all I hear is overdriven shredding. That tells me virtually nothing about what the guitar really sounds like. All it "demos" is whatever effect(s) they are using.
Geez, I could make a farging banjo sound like that if I played it through enough effects. lol
Thankfully there are a few good demos out there (robelinda2 has some good ones) but they are definitely in the minority. Most Albert Lee demos are nice and clean so I can hear the guitar and not the effects, but most other guitar models being demoed are a waste. It's frustrating. Grrrrrrr!!!
Am I crazy? Nevermind, rhetorical question lol.

1st EBMM: Silhouette Special, Candy Red, HSS, trem, rosewood.
    2nd EBMM: Luke, Black.
3rd EBMM: Steve Morse Y2D, De-Purple Burst, trem. Most beautiful guitar I have ever seen!
Amps: "Overtone Special" by Ceriatone, Fender; '69 Bandmaster-Reverb, '73 Super-Reverb, Blues Deluxe, Hot Rod Deville 212, '65 Princeton reissue, Blues Jr NOS, Gibson GA-20RVT, Carvin V3M.

Better to just post in a thread asking for people to demonstrate certain tones with certain guitars. Most can make demos without video pretty easily.
