OT: Saw the Beatles last night

OK so it wasn't the REAL Beatles - but sound-wise, darn close. A production called RAIN - a Beatles Tribute band and theatrical production. No pre-recorded music - all music performed by the "lads" on stage - plus a keyboard player filling in the strings and horn parts.

Overall, I's give it an "A". Good musicianship - great voices. Fun time - catch it if the show comes to your town.

PS: the guy playing Paul was right-handed - but a good bass player and singer.

Spent about 14 months in a Beatles trib band, minus the wigs/costumes.

Lots of fun, and not quite as easy a job for the bassist as one would think!

Saw a similar band in Vegas and also thought it was a great great concert. About 100 people.

Only bummer was going to the bathroom and finding out they played one of my favorite beatle songs when i was in there GOT TO GET YOU INTO MY LIFE
