Steve Morse Fans - Have a question for you!

Has anyone on this Forum attempted to play, "The Well Dressed Guitar"? I only have the live version from Deep Purple Live at the Rotterdam Ahoy.

A very well written song that keeps the fingers movin' !!

** If Steve Morse reads this.........thank you for writing this piece of music!!

Yes I play it from time to time

Itīs not that difficult as it may seem. Itīs kind of a drill exercise (mainly the beginning passage and the quick alternate picking part towards the end). The more often you play it the better you get

Steve does that basic exercise frequently- you often hear him working on those kinds of arpeggios. As Banjoplayer says, it's not as bad as it sounds, just keep at it. Start slowly and gradually increase the metronome.
