I have had my Fender ESS-100 acoustic guitar for about a year now and up until yesterday it was fine.
my problem is this:when i fret and pluck the G-string i hear a buzzing sound coming from the bridge, which is not heard when the G-string is played open. it does not matter which fret i play on 1-20 the buzz is still heard
here is what i have tried:
i have tried tuning the string using the fifth fret process.
i have tried detuning the string all the way, removing the bridge pin and putting it back and then re-tuning the string.
and i even tried swapping the bridge pin out for the one on the high E-string
this is really frustrating me! i love my fender but i am getting mad

. None of it was meant. I think it's your bridge saddle that might have worn and caused the G string to drop lower than usual giving you what is known as fret buzz. If its not the bridge piece then your trussrod might need adjusting, go back to Fender dealer and order a new replacement bridge piece or get a luthier to cut you one to match the original, but get them to check your neck bow first, it might be too straight or worst convex rather than concave.
