I still find this music as exciting as when I first heard it in the 60's. Was lucky enough to see them play in the 70's for a quid. I guess the only band that has excited me as much recent times are the Foo Fighters.

i saw Page & Plant back when they toured in the 90's, was a fantastic night, but to have seen Led Zep live must be something very special,

Man I grew up listening to those guys. I had a grade school science teacher who, knowing I loved music, taped all the Yardbirds albums for me and walked me to Zep. Blew my mind.

Recently picked up "The Song Remains the Same" on Blu-Ray. My GF loves Led Zep, as did I. Great stuff, but decades later, my sonic taste has changed a bit. I'm used to a bigger, thicker, heavier sound. I love Black Country Communion for bringing that type of music into the present day with a more modern sound. Don't get me wrong. Still love Led Zep. In fact, Black Country Communion is getting me to listen back to the old Led Zep stuff. I just also love what Black Country Communion is doing.

What a time!!! Zep "was" the band!! It's funny how we periodically "reflect/daydream" about bands far in the past. I do that with the Beatles quite a bit.

I've always liked that footage. The Zeppelin double DVD from back in 2003 is awesome! Looking back to that time, I suppose there weren't really any other players that could "shred" as well as Page did, eh? I, for one, am very glad he played the way he did.

I remember being at a new years eve party '75-76. Was at my older sister's friends house. On the TURNTABLE was zep 4 and i was hooked! Got an electric guitar soon after (end of acoustic playing), and a year later saw Zep live. Always loved the songwriting. My favorite band as a teenager.
Glad i got the chance to see them. JB was dead shortly after.

Well sir, you are lucky! If they were to do a real tour with Jason Bonham, I'd definitely go see them. I mean, touring with John Bonham is obviously out of the question, so, the fact that it's his son means that it's as close to the original lineup as is humanly possible...
