Hey You Van Halen Guys!

One of our endorsed players, Phil Chen, sent me a CD and written on it is, EVH2-Starfleet-Brian May, Eddie Van Halen, and Phil Chen. Did Phil play on a VH recording? If any of you have info about this I would love to hear. I called Phil, but he may be on tour or something and wasn't home. If you have never heard Phil, check out Jeff Beck Blow by Blow. Thats Phil on bass. Great player, great human.

Starfleet...I think this was a side project with EVH in the late 80's, but don't hold me to this.

Hi John, I bought this EP new in 1983 and it´s got 3 tracks on it.
Starfleet+Let me out on side 1, and Bluesbraker (dedicated to E.C.) on side 2.
Chen played on it and it´s got nice pics of chen holding Ed´s Frankenstein charvel on the innersleeve cover. At that Time chen was playing with Rod Stewart.
Hope this helps. On the track Let me out you hear Ed breaking a string and a "ouch " at the very end.

By the way are you allowed to refret my EVH or not????
