Yep! I've heard of the tool but never bothered to order one because I would just lose it. Much easier for me to just wedge a screwdriver in there and tweak it

I should add, that although the one from Axcessories works fine and is strong. The geniuses made the part of the thumbscrew that you turn smooth, instead of notched like the original one. It makes it a little difficult to turn it. The original one I had was better. Though, this one does work. I ended up just pressing down on the trem to loosen the slack, making the turning much easier. Still, these things save a load of time.

These seem to have vanished again. Anyone know of a source where they're still available, or have one they can part with?

yup, they do make it easier

mine are tied to the repair desk with strings.. darn things kept on disappearing and reappearing in mysterious ways

    MrM
just put flats on the bongo!!
just put roundwounds on your fretless!!

    trussrod adjustment:
less relief / flatter = lower action
more relief / bow = higher action
do NOT use cheap tools to adjust with. they might break and scrape up your pressious!
also, if you are lucky enough to have a 100th namm sr4: the truss works the other way around on that one!

Talking adjusting and restringing your popular tremolo

Finding your popular tremolo harder and harder to keep in tune. Extreme bouts with tuning/intonation issues that are unending. Kinda like your in a time warp.

I have developed tremolo tools and service tools for that popular trem with the things that hold them little (or big) strings in there and often crack and get stuck allowing the strings to slip (when they shouldn't) and also seemingly futile to try and constantly intonate. That is why, i have invented these AMAZING , easy , fast , and SAFE tools for this specific situation. A long time in research and development , these patented tools are tested and never fail for the intended use , to maintain and service these things.

From extreme to lean all situations easily done in 20 to 45 seconds per string/saddle.

Eliminate these side distraction issues and concentrate on learning , practicing , playing , recording ,teaching or teching on tour and in the shop. Possibilities galore and they work every time.

Can add resale value to your insturment. Please feel free to contact for price/availability
