Gear: BONGO 5 HB Lava Pearl, the best Bass ever!
Dude, I gotta say, I honestly don't play bass. But, One of the best slap bass lines i've ever heard is on a Joe Satriani Live cd i've got. I can't remember what it's called. Moose, His bass, is freakin sweet! He does this awesome hilbilly like bass line thats hilarious. Its awesome.
Pattitucci on one of the tracks on Beneath the Mask (chick corea's elektrik band). nice laid back groove....overall slappin' is over rated since most cats in my opinion that are slaphappy can't lay back in the pocket and create a foundation...
Congress is the opposite of Progress.
I can't believe no one's mentioned Louis Johnson!
If you aren't down with the Brother's Johnson, how can you call yourself a bassist!![]()
