That thread was closed so I'll take the time to reply u here.
Yeah, It's been pretty a disappointment with this bass. Not just the bass is brand new and that screw came off too easily but there's also some serious problem with getting a reasonable tonality. So yeah, I was expecting bongo would be way better than this. And looking for whatever tip I could get from the community here and warning to others to consider carefully about getting a bongo as a 6 strings option. I believe there's must be better 6 strings basses out there around this range of price according to taste of cous.

Thanks for the reply ! Yeah , all the posts are the same size . They r just shorter than the stingray posts . So i started jumping up and down when i saw a little chop groove in that section of the headstock of my NEW TRUE GOLD SHINY BONGO ! Thats ok !

Thanks for getting back to me. I have done that and there wasn't a combo that matched what I am getting. In fact I didn't see any black pear PGs. John

Golem, you said that there was a way to change the PG on the EB factory site. Was that just going to each PG to see it displayed or did it appear on the bass itself. I am thinking about the Bongo 4H in Sapphire Black with a Black Pearloid PG but I would like to see what it looks like before I order. I think the contrast will be nice and might bring out more of the other shades in the sparkle! Thanks, John
