Hi ,

I use my Music Man as my main guitar. I recently tuned down half a step. When I came back for rehearsals a week later, it was unplayable. the intonation was poor and it needed a set up.

Would tuning down half a step cause this? If so, do I need higher gauge strings to compensate for this if tuning down?

I am reluctant now to use this in the rock band that I play in and I am using it in standrad tuning when I play in another blues band.
