   No piezo. The pickup has three options by splitting the humbucker. I am pretty sure that is the same on all single pickup Sterlings.

   It does sound different, but being a guitar player and a sometimes bass player, I typically stick to the standard humbucker sound.
   
   Yeah, the bass burned an image onto the grass like those crop circle rings.
