New pickups
This is what I finished up recently and posted on the forum. Now, this Morse features a Screamin' Demon bridge humbucker, and two Duckbuckers single coils. I am awaiting a response from the tech dept at Seymour Duncan about the slanted one. As you can see in the pic, the pole pieces don't line up too well and I have come to the conclussion that this alignment problem, combined with the tiny pole pieces makes it incredibly difficult to get even output from all the strings on this pickup. I may be changing this one out for something different (perhaps a Duncan Vintage Rails) The combo of the Demon and the bridge duckbucker is incredible, probably my favorite sound on this guitar. Another cool aspect is how well the Morse neck HB works with these Duncans, a great palette of tones.
