I think "ransid red" comes from dyeing the wood in 100 day old stale cows blood. At least thats what I hear.

well i'll buy it if it is around in the morning when my dad gets home and revs up the ebay credit card info, hopefully no one snags her first. I'll just need to confirm a few things in my email with the seller and the deal will be closed

Would somebody please jump on this and save me from myself? I just paid a HECK of a lot more than that for a new HHP 5er.

    Piezos are rare and expensive!

I'm half tempted to buy it and see if I can convince EB to sell me a fretless neck.

That is an amazing price. Good thing I don't have a license to operate 5 strings!

If you need convincing, call around and find out how much a new one with that configuration would cost you.

Don't forget...the piezo is an option that adds HUNDREDS to the cost of the bass.

I would have bought it instantly if I didn't already own one.
