Would the RIGHT Ltd. Ed. make you buy?

I just bought a Bongo and I love it. Maybe in a year I might get a fretless Bongo to go with it...maybe.

But the RIGHT Ltd. would make me place an order instantly.

The right Ltd. for me would be a mahogany Bongo. I'd go 5 HP, lined fretless.

So...would the right limited make you throw caution and sound fiscal judgment to the winds, increase your debt and risk the wrath of She Who Must Be Obeyed?

I buy when I want to and more importantly can afford to buy. With EB there is no real need for limted editions really IMHO. They all are limited editions. Cuz once I get on it is mine

Of course the limited are very appealing and I might if I had the resources.

I'd guess that almost everyone would have some sort of weak spot, an EB bass they couldn't resist. The problem is that it's probably different for every person. My dream would be a Seafoam Green Stingray with an ebony fingerboard (and lightweight of course).

I've heard that the next LE is going to be Logan Green with gold trimmed red flames front and back.
Starting to think about returning to bass playing in the very near future.

well, it all really depends on whether or not im on the fence for buying a new bass or not. if im 50:50 & thinking "hmmm, should i buy a new bass" and a LE comes out that i love it would easily sway me over to the "buy" side.

however if i dont like the LE look id obviously not buy it.

No, no, that's not what I meant. I meant it's just funny, thinking about people who would wait to buy a bass for whatever reason.

    You want a bass?

    Buy a bass!

If another one comes along later and it floats your boat, buy that one, too!

I mean, sure, I'm a bit of a slut, but I wouldn't have thought to NOT buy my new white SR4 (came today, BTW) just because new models are coming soon or because the Anniversary Stingray is due next year....I'll just get those, too.

You guys really need to adjust your priorities.
