Even Though My Heart Belongs To The Company Store...

I just want to tell you (my head is filled things to say) that - as some of you know - I ordered a blue pearl Bongo 5 HS a while back, and I received an email today from the infamous Dargin, who says it is ready.

I am still, after all these basses, all the Stingrays and Stingray 5s and Sterlings and, okay, yes, the Bongos.........I am still freaking pumped about this bass.

I just wanted you to know that.

    Whoever the hell you are.

Meet me TK. I am an envious fugger that lives in Kansas and have only an SR5 . I am thinking it will still kick some Bongo butt.

Well, me say that I have been a dedicated SR5 fan for years now, and I'd be about the last person on earth to argue with you.

But Tommy, hotdammit, we definitely one of these days have to get a Bongo into your hands, don't you think?

the quoting terry bozzio here "i knew you'd be surprised"

Yes Jack I want to play a Bongo 5. I also want to be 17 again and know what I know. Neither seems likely where I live. Do I need a bongo. NO!!

My SR5 is so good I don't need a backup bass at the gig. I carry spare amps and cables and even cabs.

As long as I have a spare 9v battery the SR5 will get it done.

Well unless me the thing that I could use a spare of fails.

I say I am Shamus...unabashed Bongoloid! None of my Rays, Sterlings, P-Basses, Laklands (well, actually...yes), Warwicks...you name it...ever got the reactions that my beloved Stealth Bong'er has and still does receive!
