    Hey Randracula!

Just read your message in one of the threads from about a week ago (I've been away) and was just curious. I'm a big Big Drill Car fan (though I know they are no more) and so I found it pretty cool that you actually know Mark Arnold!

I was just wondering if you can fill me in on any musical projects he might be involved with these days. I remember he was in All Systems Go for a while, but not sure what happened to him after that. Please fill me in!

    Cheers for the info!

I too am a great Big Drill Car fan! The pop-punk band I was in for years (see sig) used to play with them quite a bit here in AZ. Our guitar player was/is good friends with Bill from Descendents/All, so we played with most of the Cruz bands at one point or another.

I think my favorite was always Chemical People, though. I totally dug those guys and was in puppy love with them when I was in high school

I played in a band with Mark Arnold for a year that eventually turned into the Scrimmage Heores(that Mark did one record with)called Sorry Charlie.I knew him as a recording engineer and live sound guy for a few years before that. There was also a short lived project with Travis Barker, Mark and I that got cut short when he joined the ADZ.As of late Mark is still doing some shows with All Systems Go and doing sound for bands like The Breeders and The MC5.Mark has also been recording some stuff with the singer from the Scrimmage Heroes(Noel Paris)for a band called Tan Analog. If you're interested, I have some recordings of some of the Sorry Charlie stuff with Mark on it.I can put a song up on my site.I am a huge BDC fan as well and getting to play with Mark was unreal. We covered Diamond Earrings and No Need and looking over and seeing(and hearing) Mark playing those songs was amazing.............

Thanks for the info Randy. Just checked out your myspace site and there's some great stuff on there. Really liking that Greenbrier Lane song, as well as the Feeble track.

I'm gonna have to find out if this stuff is commercially available, and if not perhaps you can help me find it. Can be difficult finding new music of this "type" now I'm living over here in the UK, but hopefully the interweb will sort this out for me.

I totally miss hearing decent NEW pop-punk as I anxiously await new material from Mr. Scott Reynolds

    Cheers!

We just got invited to do a song for a BDC tribute album that some korean label is putting out. I'll update you if/when we do it.

So Randy, I can't seem to find any Greenbrier Lane stuff that's commercially available. Do you have anything out, and if not do you plan to put something out soon (or can I get something from you)? I downloaded the mp3's off your band's myspace site, and I'm really "diggin" it.

I swear I'm not some psychotic weirdo groupie
    (Hmmm... good potential band name)

Cheers for that Randy, I'll head on over and check that out! Really liking the Greenbrier Lane tracks I downloaded from your site, hope everything goes well for you and the rest of the band. I've always been confused by the hit or miss (mostly miss) success rate of this style of music, but I like it and will buy it if/when it becomes commercially available

I'm impressed (and amazed) there is a band in Spain who have actually HEARD of BDC!!! Nice to hear good (and "relatively" unknown) music CAN travel far and wide. I can only educate so many Europeans in the ways of American 80's/90's HC.
