It becomes more and more exciting And what is the DOB of the bass Gav posted about? MAy be it's all about bridge shuffle, the same way as neckplate shuffle nowadays?

And about 6 fingers - I had it only on the right hand, but it was cut later because of infection

That one was built on 3/02/93, 4 months prior. I doubt there is much relationship between the two.

    Serial number E02427

Hi Guys, I bought this brand new! from a shop here in the Netherlands, but I've got reason to believe it's about 9 years old! The bass is in absolutely 100% perfect condition. You get to wonder what happened with it all these years. Not being played that's for sure!

Stingray 5 E02427 Honey Burst, white pickguard, maple 3eq.

    Cheers
    Mich D

    Serial #E40444

    Hi,

Just bought a stingray off ebay, and am trying to determine it's DOB - the original owner was unsure, but said he'd bought it recently.

It's a 4 string, black body, black PG, 3 band, rosewood board. Serial E40444

I've had a crush on these things since i first saw one in the 80s... played on a few in the 90s, but never owned until now. Love that punch! Plus, arg, is there are better *looking* bass in the world?

Thanks for anyone's help in tracking down the DOB!

    JG
