Welcome radial! Congratulations on your new (at least to you) bass. Our records show it as a StingRay 4 H Medallion Gold finish with a rosewood board and a white pearloid pickguard. It was originally shipped to a GC on 2/19/04.

My dog's name is Bailey, but he's not the one on my avatar. He's a beagle. I need to get his pic to be my avatar. I will work on that.

Hi there!
I've been a proud owner of a Sterling since about 95, I think. Bought it used from Bass Northwest and have loved it ever since. I'd love to see when my bass was made. Best I can tell is Spring of 04. My serial number is 40722 (from the bridge), it has a bird's eye maple neck, and the original sunburst color (as illustrated here: http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...urstcolour.jpg).
Here's a picture for fun:
Thanks!
Hey there,
I have a EBMM Frettless I bought from a local music shop before the GC bought them out. I cannot find the SN on it.
BTW: I am considering putting a fretted neck on it, possibly a Status Graphite.
Any thoughts/input would be appreciated.
Pics for your consideration:

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
The serial will be located on the bridge between the string saddles and the end of the bridge. Possibly a 1995-96 Bass.
Well looky there!
Never would have seen it. I never even noticed it while I changed strings!
Thanks

46887, that spells moon...
Hey Dan,
Just took ownership of a beautify Stingray 5 in natural finish with rosewood board and black pickguard. The only serial # I could find was 56126 on the bridge, the seller believed it to be '95 or '96 construction. It's completely flawless and shows no sign of wear, so it is a bit hard to believe. Might be one of those under the bed or hidden in a cupboard wonders that you occasionally hear about!
Cheers,
Justin
