The build date was 6/29/05 and there were about 450 made in that time period (2004-2005) - and yours was among the last 30 or so built.

I picked up a trans teal stingray (more of a dark blueish green) a while back and want to know a little more about it if you can...I think it is an '88, clear pick guard, serial number 26447

I also a few months ago got another Stingray in a sunburst color with a clear pickguard as well, serial number 28046

Figjam, your Stingray shows as a Trans Teal completed on 2/03/92. Originally shipped to the old Lucchetti's Drum & Guitar in Albuquerque, NM.

gio, that serial number does not show up at all in our database, which means it almost certainly did not originate at our factory. You want to check the number again?

chilix, your 2 EQ rosewood StingRay, completed on 06/02/88, was among the first Trans Teal built, I think it is safe to say ... the clear pickguard would be aftermarket (not that that's bad) as we never used clear pickguards on those.

Ole, your Bongo 4 was completed on 12/04/06 and the specs are: HH. Sapphire Black, Rosewood, Moonstone guard.

Yes, I left out those details .. you are correct, that's what it is recorded as.
