Your StingRay was done on 12/19/00 and sent to Truetone Music in Santa Monica, CA

And you are correct on the color and the other specs are the same as what it says in our database!

Cristiano: That serial number brings up a vintage sunburst Stingray5 that was completed on August 27th, 2003.

ausbass: Your Stingray5 was completed on July 6th, 2006. It was originally sent to CMC, our Australian distributor.

Basstige: Your bongo was completed on February 23rd, 2007.

There's no database for the Pre-EBs but, comparing your serial number with others, it would be 1977.
