Hi. Can you tell me some fact about this bass. I buy for some weeks ago and know the birth is 4/21/04 and serial is E42079. But the head is black. Is it some special mod?

New to the site, thanks for having it. I am going to start playing in a band again after 13 years, most of which my SR5 was under my bed.

Just got her cleaned up, restrung, set up and ready for action.

My SR5 is Teal with black PG, bought used in '95. Serial 53013, could you tell me when she was born?

could you please check the DOB of by Black/Maple/Piezo Stingray #E26474. Is White Pearl the original Pickguard? Where do you send it to?

Hi, Aziah & Dan.

I have a brand new Classic series SR4 that I picked up yesterday from Guitar Center. (One of the guys who works there seems to think I'm the first guy in my area to own one of these! This is also the first that I've seen of this series at that location.)

Classic Stingray 4 - serial #B050449 (stamped on the bridge)
Solid gloss white
White pg
White pickup housing
Flamed maple neck
Flamed maple fretboard
Old-style bridge with mutes
Old-style headstock logo
Chrome battery compartment cover
Strings are run through the body

She played like a dream in the store. Played it for an hour until I finally got up to have the sales staff ring it up for me.

The dating system is: Month then Day then Year.

5/2/01 is: May 2nd 2001.

Date of birth: 3/31/97 and you are correct that it is Vintage Sunburst

This was our first Limited Edition color package that we did. The color was Radiance Red and all the headstocks were painted black.

Date of birth: 11/16/01. This originally had a Black pickguard and it was shipped to Bass Central in Florida, USA

I bought her new in 2000 and she's got the most beautiful birds eye maple neck. I think the colour looks like Honey Burst.

Hi and welcome to the Forum! Your SR4 was done on 8/4/99 and the color was then called Sunburst, which is what we now refer to as Honey Burst
