    I have a black/maple Stingray classic with gunstock oil finished neck and compensated nut
    Serial number b050100
    Any information about this bass is greatly appreciated as it seems unique(not poly, headstock label does not say "classic").

    Hi, just picked up what was advertised as a 2001 Stingray. It has a 2 band eq, 3 color sunburst, 4 strings and a rosewood fretboard. Serial # E23327.

    Was curious about that 2 band as I never saw one before on a Stingray before the "classic" was introduced recently.

    Its on layaway at guitar center right now. ( little more to pay off) Its definatly not 70's. It has a the number on the neckplate and the number is. E37353. Its graphite pearl with black guard. Thanks guys!E37353 was almost positively made in June-August 2003. Post on the EBMM Forum for the actual "birthday".
