Your 2-Band EQ Buttercream was one of only 4 production models made in that edition. It was completed on 5/31/05 and was shipped to Granny's Music Mall in Oklahoma City.
Very nice!

Wow! Thanks a lot for the info.
Can you give me more info about my bass please. I got a black HH Stingray I bought a few months ago from Guitar Center here in Houston. Serial # is E 49778. Its an amazing bass. I love it! Just want to know its DOB and other info.
D,
Your bass was completed on 11/16/05. It is a Sapphire Black finish with Rosewood fretbord and a Moonstone pickguard. This was among the first ones in the HH configuration that was shipped out.

Please give me the DOB of Sting Ray #40053.
Thanks in advance.
David
New to this forum and I just picked up my first Stingray. I got it used at a guitar Center, and was wondering what the date of birth might be??
I asssume sometime in 2006 because of the like-new condition...
The serial number is E51833 -- it has a nice black cherry burst finish, a black pickguard and a maple fretboard, and I am enjoying it VERY much.

cdb, the completion date of your StingRay is 4/12/06. Sweet!Originally Posted by cdb

Ernie Ball Sterling serial#46423
I bought it used at least 6-7 years ago at bass nw, so I know little to nothing about it. All I do know is that the pickups are not original. And a fairly interesting configuration of Bartolini's. It sounds awesome though.

Quinalt, this Trans Red Sterling was made on 10/4/95 and was originally sent to American Music, who at the time had a 4-store chain and was the only Music Man dealer in the Seattle area. They are no longer a Music Man dealer.Originally Posted by Quinault
