    I have another question. My local dealer says that music man basses by ernie ball are not made in San Louis Obispo,CA but they are made in South Corea,Mexico or East Europe..Is that true?

    Hi Pernacchio. The Ernie Ball Basses are definitely made in San Luis Obispo California.

    They also make great pizza in San Luis

    Gav is 100% correct, the Ernie Ball Music Man factory has always been in San Luis Obispo, Ca. We have no other factories. I can hear the mill running and smell the paint from my cubicle sometimes! What a lovely treat for the senses! ........ "I love the small of polyester clearcoat in the morning!" Ahhhh ...... then there's Woodstock's Pizza in downtown SLO .. another treat for the senses, absolutely!

    fffonck, welcome! Your bass was completed on 3/21/06. It is a StingRay HS in black with a white pickguard no? Originally shipped to our honorable French distributor, Hi Tech.
