    It could be. A serial number would tell me for sure.

    I have my doubts though. It would have had to get from Wisconsin to Nevada in a hurry for that to be it.

    I figured a "Sting Ball" was a bass where the wrong notes are electrified. Or maybe one with small nails sticking out of the back, so you can punish yourself while you play, if that is your thing.
