    OT - Clarke/Duke Project

I don't know if anyone is interested, or if it's even allowed, so I'll wait to be told .. but ...

I was tiying out a whole load og ancient TV video recordings this morning, and I came across a 1981 recording of Stanley Clarke/George Duke playing School Days on the Old Gray Whistle Test (a 70s/80s late night alternative rock program of almost legenary fame in the UK)

I dould post it on my site for anyone who wants a listen, but I will not post the link here if anyone (moderators/organisers) object.

    Up to y'all ....

    Kevin

Since nobody has told me I can't do it .. here it is ...

    http://www.trib-design.com/gray_whiistle_CDP.mpg

For some reason the encoder doesn't want to put the right head and foot on the file, so its a bit of an odd one !! ... Just clicking on the link doesn't work. You need to right click and save it to a file first. and then load it into Windows Media Player ... THen it'll work OK ..

BTW .. its a big file (100 MB). Don't try this on a dialup !!

    ## EDIT ##

I was listening to it again to make sure it worked, and wifey popped her head in the office and said "Hey .. your bass playing really sounds good from out here" ... I had to explain that Stanley was a bit more experienced than me .. even back in 1981

.. don't ya gotta love 'em
