    I just want to scream

"It" finally dawned on me. I feel so liberated I don't feel dumb about this (although maybe I should, it is so simple). My bass learning has been against a brick wall for about, well... since the beginning. I'm so used to being in a structured rehearsal/practice environment (work on these arpeggios, work on these etudes/work on this passage, etc.) I've had a hard time figuring out how to learn the bass. It hit me like a ton of lead bricks it is so simple. I'm off to go practice with my new found inspiration.

Much like what BP says in regards to joining the Forum, "Relax, and enjoy the ride!"

Ive been on a creative/free practicing whim for over a year. Its been definitely over a year since ive really learned a cover outside of band purposes. Im just getting back into playing songs with my cds and stuff. Its nice to change it up again.

Those moments when the hamster climbs back on the wheel are great. Nice to hear that the fog has cleared (too many metaphores????)
