Great pics. I like the buttercream with the dot inlays.

The balance on a strap is one of my favorite things about the Bongos. I can play a 3 hour gig and not have to worry about holding the neck up with my left hand. I also think it's neat that the horns are almost perfectly perpendicular with the floor when it's strapped on--that's ergonomics in action, folks!

    Way too heavy.

On top of that, I found out today that a pain that's been bothering me is because I "almost" have a hernia. If I lift a lot of weight the wrong way I'll end up needing surgery. I think the Schroeder may have been the cause of it.

Thanks, I kind of like the way it looks too!
Starting to think about returning to bass playing in the very near future.

Great bass Larry! I wish I was smart enough to get a 4HS Bongo in Buttercream.

I listened to the Railhead demos ... and you guys are tight ... and rockin!
with a definite Texas element. (Speaking from the far east coast). A great sound, and the bass sounds good EXCEPT .... they should have you higher in the mix for Sweet Emotion!

I'm sure everybody here will agree!

    Good stuff.

    Thanks for the compliments.

If I ever meet the bass player that played on the demos, I'll pass it along.

That was recorded about a year ago. I joined the band last September. I want us to redo our demo because we are even tighter now than the band was then.

Looks like fun. Glad you are enjoying the BC Bongo too. Pictures just don't really speak of that color like a real life encounter with it does. IMHO

I hear you, my friend. My days of lugging around a heavy cab are over. For my recent purchase, I was considering a neo cab, but found a deal on a new Aguilar S410 that I could not pass up. It weighs 83 lbs. That's a little heavier than I wanted to go, but it has casters and I believe I can manage it just fine.

oops. Well, complimenting the former bassist will add to the bass karma I suppose. You guys will have to cut some new demos so you can share em with us!
