Music Man S.U.B. Sterling bass good deal?

    Hey,

I found a S.U.B. sterling bass at my local guitar center for $that was marked down from a retail of $ I am assuming it is a pretty good deal, but I can't find much online about the S.U.B. Sterling series so I wanted to check here and see if there is something I should know before buying it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Any S.U.B. for that price is a great deal. Most new ones retail for much more than that... at least double. I don't have any experience with Sterlings, but I still say grab it!

What you should know is that you should buy it.

Sterling is not the part of this that makes it lower end. SUB is. Sterlings are actually more expensiove than stingrays. SUBs, whether it be and SUB stingray or SUB sterling,is what makes it lower end.

SUBs are cool basses, I'd love to pick up a cheap used one, one of these days and maybe do a home refinish in some crazy color.

I certainly regard my SUB as a superb bass. You can't go wrong especially if the price is right. Get that bass, plug it in and enjoy!
