    Happy 49th Chuck (tomorrow).

    Your new wnd controller is very cool.

    When you going to the Caymans?

    Charcoal underpants would have been cheaper.

    It's a way for woodwind players to control synthesizers just like keyboard players and drummers with electronic kits. It’s our MIDI input device, so we can play synths or samplers. I use my Yamaha WX5 to play horn sections, guitar solos, flutes, drums, cello or whatever is needed.

    @Larry

    I leave on my birthday (Thursday), get there for dinner and Beth’s part of this meeting is only Friday morning, then we have the rest of the day and all day Saturday and most of the day Sunday off to do whatever. This has turned into a better trip than I thought, just me and my wife and no damn kids…. Woo Hoo!

    i understand.. very cool. i'd imagine the wind instrument sounds will sound better than most keyboards, since you'll be able to control the wind pressure through your instrument already, right(i'm referring to the vibratos and such)?

    Happy birthday a day early, Chuck! It's always fun to get new musical toys, and a birthday is the perfect excuse.
