    SUB 5 - Opinions?

    Hi

    just wondering if anyone has a SUB 5 string and what they think of it? I'm thinking of picking one up but haven't seen one in any shops here, so I'll be buying without trying form abroad. What is the string spacing on them?

    SUB 5s are great basses. The lack of contour makes them a little less comfortable when sitting, but it is no biggie IMO. To me, they get a nice Stingray tone, in fact they are closest thing you can get to a two band SR5. The price is really great too if a regular Stingray is too rich for your blood.
