Any available Bassists in NYC to jam?

What's up all you thick stringed thunder rockers!! I have not been too often here, as I would REALLY not have time to practice and do my work throughout the day. Gotta blame it on this awesome forum and the products.
But anyway, I am looking for a Bass player to jam with and possibly get a band going. I already have a decent drummer, and we've been recently working on some sick progressive rock/jazz instrumental music. Basically my favourite bassist of ALL time is Dave LaRue (fellow EB player of course), and that is the kind of style I am looking for in a bassist to play with. Let me know, if any of you guys are interested and available.

You'll probably have to post somewhere else to find someone to that actually plays bass. We just collect them and talk about them here.
Starting to think about returning to bass playing in the very near future.

Larry someone will jump on the deal. Heck how many times a week do you wanna jam?

Nope I am not the guy. Would be if gas prices weren't too high and you didnt want to play too many times a month.

I'm totally new here, but this may be interesting. My sight reading chops are way down, but I'd be into it. More info?

Well this summer I have an opportunity to use NYUs recording studio for free for whenever. This is pretty much the only place in NYC right now where I can play with other people that does not involve paying money for some studios with crap equipment. Well the studio does not have any amps or anything, so you would need your own stuff.
And dont worry about sight reading, cuz I'm not much good at that just yet either. Just trying to put some GOOD music together and record maube a demo of like 4 tracks during the summer and maybe get some gigs around NY area. PM if you want more inforation form me or any other questions you might have guys . I agree on that collecting of the instruments part, hehehehe.
