Cutlass value?

Just got a call from a guy in NJ who has a mint condition Cutlass asking my opinion of value. I told him $1,500 +/-

In general, I'd say that's pretty good. Of course, the older the more valuable. Prices should be pretty close to a Stingray of the same condition and vintage - maybe a little higher because there are less of them.

I had a decent '83 I just sold for $1300.

I picked up a nice '79 with 3-bolt neck and string-thru bridge for $1800 (with the original teardrop case)
