hmmm... maybe he would like a passive SUB or something like that... or perhaps a passive "special edition" stingray? my passive SUB is incredibly smooth and predictable, yet still sings like crazy. i tend to prefer passive basses in general, or at most a 2-band pre, so i understand where he's coming from. the nice thing is that the pre on most EB basses i've played is very predictable and linear. pino is the man for sure.![]()
