saw a new OLP Stingray type bass with the flame maple veneer today in my local music shop.it had the abbreviated type bridge without the plate part underneath where the dampeners would be.similiar shape to the one in the pic.sry didnt see if it had the bolts,see if I can have a peek tomorrow as its on my home from work

Yeah that is an OLP, they are using that bridge now.
