O/T Chuck "psycho" Ward Support group forming

    Hello Knuckleheads!

We all know the tough times Chuck is having with his mother. Im sure by now he knows that we are all behind him. next week he is going to go through a biggie!

Chuck is taking his beautiful daughter off to college.I have tried to warn my friends...they never listen. It is one of the hardest things to do. I tried to tell Dan Norton about it when he shipped his only daughter off to the University of Washington...he didnt listen and he also didnt say a word to anyone for ten days after he was so sad. I remember my wife in the supermarket with brian at 7:30 AM with big Jackie O shades trying to hide the tears. I was a rock of stringth until I looked into the rear view mirror and then I was the wreck.

Chuck you need to tell your wife that the only cure for the Kid Off TO College Blues is a LE 1h1s Sterling

Any of you older folks here have the same experience?

BP, you are sooo in tune! Yes this is a biggie and it's already killing me. I've always had a special bond with my little girl. She was born premature, 4 lb's and almost didn't make it. I stopped touring and stayed home with her, I've changed more diapers than my wife ever has. Now she's tall and beautiful... AND LEAVING!!!

This is going to be a rough, like you said, but there is a Dargie Delight like a light at the end of the tunnel.

Heck, Dude has my new Bongo single H, it's paid for and ready to ship, but I've asked him to hang on to it till I know I'll be home for a few days. Tough time here, but all of you have been such a great help to me, thanks again, really thanks!

I realize it's not the same but my 5yr. old daughter just got her first loose tooth yesterday and man.... that got me bummed for about an hour just thinking about her getting older and all that.... can't imagine the college thing, I think I'll probably be the biggest wimp!

anywho, Chuck, all the best and good luck with the LE prescription request.

I don't see myself getting all broken up when she goes away to school but I can see it when I walk her down the isle and hand her over to the husband to be............then again if I see my wife get broken up about something that involves my kid that could very well trigger the emotions. Chuck seems like you have a special bond. I'm sure she will be calling and probably coming home or you guys visiting if she is going somewhere in NC. That should put you to ease.

Been the dad that sent his daughter to college. If that isn't one of the toughest thing a dad ever drives off on then I don't know what is.

Then there is that walking them down the ailse thing to. Seems like right after you almost recover from them going off to college they do that to you.

Hey Chuck, we can, maybe requisition some Budweiser support to deal with the soon to be dad in the dumps syndrome.

Also don't be fooled. BP and I aren't letting you off the hook from suffering something we had to.

Best wishes to Chuck in both situations. My son opted not to go to college but he did venture out on his own at a very young age and had a very rough go of things for a few years and it was very hard as a parent to do the right thing for him while also allowing him to make his own mistakes and learn some very hard lessons along the way but he's doing just fine now.

I can relate to Chuck on the other end of the spectrum much better with what I've been dealing with my elderly parents for 4 years now on a daily basis and I now find myself in the very difficult position of having to place at least one of them in a nursing home as my father has degenerated to a point where he now requires 24 hr care that I am no longer able to provide without giving up my life entirely. It's been a very difficult weekend for me dealing with siblings on this issue and I have called in a professional to evaluate the situation and review our options.

The agency I've called in was referred to me by none other than Mr. & Mrs. Chuck Ward and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

It's not in yet but I expect it today Chuck. It's safe with me especially since I'm a North Paw. It'll just give me more time to take some really good pics of it. Just let me know when you want me to fire it off your way buddy!

    That was my next question.

Stanky starts college on the 21st and is staying HOME! Less bills for me.

Best wishes on your daughter's trip and the rest of her educational career.

I always thought watching your children grow up and make you proud was what it was all about.
