    you just made me realise how cool it will be for my son to have a birth year bass, which means that the DD I have on order fits the bill perfectly. I'll play the crap out of it for 20 years and then he can love it after I've gone up the chimney.

    Doh. I just saw the latest Dargie Delight build date estimate in the other thread. I guess the DD is going to be the birth year bass for my second child, not the first.

    buy anouther one. if not its a sin to keep an instrument locked away and not played . thats why they were made in the first place . if its locked up for years and years you probably open the case up and it will never be playable . instruments are like women , they need a firm hand , and love and attention.
