    Exclamation How Much Longer!?

    I ordered my 4HS/DG/Bongo w/Piezo July 31 from the local guitar center...I ordered this bass without ever playing any musicman bass...(have a few Fenders and Carvin)...Also, I have not even seen one in person other then pics on the net. I have read the reviews here and find myself more and more anxious and impatient. When will my suffering end?

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I'd plan on waiting another month, at least. Three to four months seems to be the typical build time. You could try emailing customer service for a more precise arrival date.

    Asking customer service is good advice. They have a good idea when things will be completed.

    I think it is closer to 5 months now with instruments ordered now showing up in March 07.

    The good thing is they are worth waiting for.

    You're dealing with a retail outlet. They should be able to get you the information you want. Talk to your sales monkey!

    In my experience, my dealer was always able to tell me exactly where my bass was in the queue as well as what step in the build process.
    It's all about the bass!

    In that case, given all the DD's were ordered during the same window, the production dates for all of them should be fairly close together (I guess a production run of a few weeks give or take)

    Jack, as a sales monkey, can you give us any info on any delivery ETAs you have for the DD orders VBTC placed? A ballpark month should be good enough to sate most of at this point in time.
