I think she's really tied up at the moment with arranging the adoption... I hope that is going well for her!

I am back to check in. You would be surprised where I went....(lowers her head in shame). I have been playing the drums lately at church and am now all focused on drumming right now. I get in those moods where I play bass and don't touch the drums and then play the drums and don't go near the bass. Does anyone else do this?

I also was bummed that I couldn't make the Dallas bash so I stepped back for awhile because I figured that would be all anyone would be talking about.

No matter how you slice it... I suck. But I still love you guys no matter where I go.

Okay. *raises hand slowly* I used to do that. Then I decided that I was going to suck on only one instrument.

I still love you guys no matter where I go.
And so we are obligated to love you right back. Unless you've been on one of those drum forums.

Wouldn't the drum forumites all need webcams so they could communicate online, using sign language and smoke signals?

    No sweat, Lisa.

Aside from a lousy performance (on my part) at the Dallas Knucklehead jam, I haven't picked up a guitar since October 21st. Sometimes other things take priority. I have rehearsal this Thursday, so I'll at least pick up a guitar before the week is out.. but that's nearly a month without playing!

We still love you in spite of the drumming.

Thanks guys, you are the best! Every dang one of you.

Jack you know what I mean about instrument switching. I always say about myself "jack of all trades, master of none." I wish I put all of the energy in one instrument.

Tiff I wish I met you in person. You have such a clever wit, for a good time I would have stayed by your side.

Back to the thread title..... it is funny that bass player posted my pic. Everyone was probably thinking "who? should I know who she is?" I love it!!!!

Lisa you aren't pounding on the cow bell are you? Drummers aren't a bad lot until they get one of those.

Tiff, do I have your schedule?

Seems you're supposed to be coming in today (Monday) at 1 pm?

    Airport? Airline? Flight number?

I have to teach from 1 to 3 pm so this might be important, eh?
