    New too Music Man

Hello Everyone How are you, I'm New here, Live up in San Francisco and was Turned on to this site by a Fellow Named Dave Jeffreis.

my friend who is a san jose police officer who happens to be best friends with Dave Jeffreis took me over too meet him and we had the opertunity to go through his storage facilities and this guy had to have over 200 music man basses. I must say what a very nice guy and a pleasure too meet, we spent the better part of the day there, me being a Fodera kind of a guy also loving the f basses too. He has me convinced to come too this site and I'm now on the hunt for a bongo bass,
    His Bongos played like butter.
Anyway Thanks again to Dave and this music man guitar site.
    Rob

    Welcome!
I envy you having the opportunity to see Daves collection

All Bongos play like butter, so just choose the color and p/u config that suits you. Me, I'm a dual humbucker kind of girl-man, but it's all good
bovinehost: Yes, I do agree with that, but if there's nothing wrong then there's nothing wrong.
Beth: I would compare Bongo to Tommy Lee Jones. Bad a$$ and just hot in a weird way...
cheezewiz: They should take their lace thongs off and play bass.

Welcome, there is a wealth of Musicman knowledge here and these guys are always willing to share their experiences with you. Good luck on your quest for a Bongo, I hear they're quite remarkable, though I have not had the pleasure to play one yet. By the way I'm not a H.O.G. member, but I've always had a scooter in my posession...currently a 1973 Ironhead Sportster XLCH. I wouldn't trade it for a new liver.

wow, maybe more of you understand my login name than I thought. My sporty is a 94 that has been rebuilt 3 times, it has 84,000 miles on it and I wouldn't trade it for any body organs! Next to my basses, my Taylor, and my family, (not necessarily in that order...), my sporty is my favorite possession.
