To try to answer your question...I've never played an H SR5, but there is a big difference in the tone when switching from the bridge pup to the neck pup on my HH.

Is the Bongo 6 going to be released this year? I might wait for one of those bad boys...
No matter what anyone else tells you, listen to me.

Because certain models are shown at NAMM does NOT mean they'll be on the shelves the following week.

Don't worry about the Bongo 6 or the Sterling 5 just yet. Focus on all the wonderful things that are available right here, right now (sorry for the Jesus Jones quote).

    Unsuprisingly, I voted Bongo.

I would get a bongo next, unless you're looking to expand on the SR5 sound. Played a HH 5 last week at a music store. I would say it is very versatile. With that EQ you should be able to tweak any tone you need. The question is can you handle that EQ. A liitle goes a long way. Just for fun I turned the bongo's bass up all the way with both pickups on. I made the Ampeg fart.

I'm a left hander who plays right handed, so I guess that makes me confused.

Oh, Okay. I honestly probably like the thought of the Bongo 6 enough to wait to purchase one whenever they hit stores. Worth the wait.

I understand, and while I don't have ANY information on when a Bongo 6 would be available, remember that the Bongos were introduced at NAMM in January of 2003 and it was near the end of 2003 that they actually started to ship to stores.

It might not be that long again for things to get tooled up and into production, but then again, it might be.

I own both the H and the HH versions of the SR5, they are really totally differernt animals, you should go for the SR5 HH.
