The intro to "Fat Albert"
2007 Dargie Delight Sterling HS w/matching headstock
Yep - got it... But in this particuar case, I am looking for specific melodies that are so inate, I can adjust for proper intonation (fretless play). All about ensuring that I am playing the note I am hearing in my head.
So far my favorite is "Pop goes the weasel" - on the four string, this forces me to change positions for the higher notes.
The other favs at the moment are "Alouette", "Twinkle, Twinkle" and "Mary Had a Little Lamb".
I used to mess with the "Star Spangled Banner" - will definitely run through that as well!
Sorry Beth - I don't do much TV... Can't say I've ever watched the "King of the Hill"...![]()
