wich body wood on my SR4?

    there's a way to know with which wood the body of my SR4 is made of?
    it's a year 2000 sparkle black.
    it's ash?
    (someone told me from a certain year EB started to use only ash, it's true? starting from which year? why the site still says "selected hardwoods"?)
