I looove my SUB4 but....

I totally love the look, feel, sound of my SUB4 passive. It allways gets comments. There's a but; but because of the non tapered body I'm getting serious irritation on the inside of my wrist, we had a two hour jam session last night, and my wrist has a serious rash and is pretty swollen where my wrist meets the relatively sharp corner. i plan on keeping this bass forever, but I'm seriously considering taking a planer and sander to the body! Now, I know my hand postion isn't the best, and I play w/ a pick, but no other bass has hurt me this bad.

Any suggestion? Anyone want to sell me a stingray body

It's really a "why do those you love hurt you so bad" kinda thing.

p.s. Thank you Ernieball company for the Wonder Wipes and stickers I got in the mail yesterday!!! ROCK!!!

Drink a lot of beer, grow a gut, and adjust your strap so that your SUB rests on the top of your gut. This will change the angle of the SUB and make it more comfortable for your wrist.

I wish, I just had to drop $1300 on taxes to our wonderful government. There goes my SR4 I hope they enjoy it

Wear a wristband OR buy a big strip of moon gel (the stuff drummers use to dampen their toms) and slap that on the non contour. Peels off with no residue.

Hey lom,
I'm sure you'll get other sweet answers ...

....but for me: I wear a wrist/sweatband around my forearm. I'm sure my playing stature could use a little work, but I get that irritation too. And I'm talking with any guitar ..

And then what the hell would I bring the rock with? A big... ummmm ....rock? (I got nothin')

I like the sub, I just don't like the little red dots that are forming and causing some sort of swollen thing on my wrist.
