    New Pickguard on the Sterling

Got my new pickguard in today, as some other stuff. Oh and the Wonder Wipes made it too. Here are pics of the Sterling, before and after pickguard. And Wonder Wipes pics. Oh, Sterling got a Wonder Wipes treatment while the pickguards were off (strings off, took black guard off, got WW treatment, abalone guard on, strings on) so you can also see the Wonder Wipes work's before (black guard) and after (abalone guard).

Beth, maybe this'll hold you over while the England pics are uploading.

I was going to wait till Sunday to put it on, since that's my Sterling's birthday. It'll be 13 this Sunday (finally a teenager) LOL. I couldn't wait, so it was an early birthday present. lol

That's as shiny as it'll get. It's really scratched up. I will work on it some more next week when my new strings get here.

I saw your black ice guard post. Looks good too.

I actually got to the Abalone cause of Azzy posting a link to here Sterling "Bobby" and then I photoshoped one of her pics to make it a black Sterling and I loved it. Then I photoshoped the knobs black and loved it even more, now it's real.

There is something about abalone pickguard that just makes a bass snap. Well maybe not on Heinz

I'm a left hander who plays right handed, so I guess that makes me confused.

Ikea work bench/desk, I got one too

Ooh, the bass looks good too, flea bridge and all
bovinehost: Yes, I do agree with that, but if there's nothing wrong then there's nothing wrong.
Beth: I would compare Bongo to Tommy Lee Jones. Bad a$$ and just hot in a weird way...
cheezewiz: They should take their lace thongs off and play bass.
